1971 Citroen DS. It’s owned by a semiretired Citroen mechanic in Santa Cruz California. He took me for a quick ride around the neighborhood, that consisted of hitting speed bumps at 30 and intentionally driving off curbs. This car has a 4 speed manual, column mounted shifter.
It takes bumps like a a dream. The French knew what they were doing! Ground clearance for days.

There is a guy with a safari like that in SF, there is a French car club he told me about. I like my W123 but my dream sedan is a DS with the older gorgeous dash/interior.

The guy said there were two or three mechanics locally that can work on the hydropneumatic suspension, when I asked if that was an issue! My Z came from a shed in Santa Cruz.

My building manager used to have a really nive-looking one when I moved in.
He replaced it with... a Ford Focus hatchback Kinda sad but I’m sure he got a pretty penny for it. He’s in his later years and retired with grandkids so I figure he felt his classic car tinkering days winding down or he needed the money.
